While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Palestinian tribal leaders warn: Israeli aid zones are death traps

Tuesday 17-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Higher Council for Tribal Affairs in Palestine issued an urgent appeal on Tuesday, calling on residents of the Gaza Strip to stop heading to Israeli-designated aid distribution sites, warning that these areas have become deadly traps responsible for the deaths of hundreds of unarmed civilians.

In a statement, the Council described the so-called humanitarian gathering points promoted by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) as “bloody ambushes” deliberately designed to lure desperate civilians into fatal attacks under the guise of aid.

The Council emphasized that intensive coordination efforts are underway with international institutions to facilitate the safe, dignified, and organized delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza’s residents.

These efforts aim to protect lives and ensure that aid is distributed through credible and secure channels, upholding the dignity of the Palestinian people amid the catastrophic humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Strip.

“We renew our call to our people to refrain from approaching these dangerous zones,” the statement read, urging full cooperation with relevant authorities and humanitarian organizations to allow for equitable and safe distribution of much-needed food and medical supplies.

The Tribal Affairs Council underscored that preserving life amid war is both a national and moral duty, adding that popular solidarity with coordinated humanitarian efforts remains the most effective path to breaking the siege and halting further bloodshed.

This call comes as reports show that nearly 400 Palestinians have been martyred and over 3,000 injured while attempting to retrieve aid from distribution points set up by the IOF and its US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation—sites which many now believe are being used to control, entrap, and punish civilians in the besieged enclave

'Hamas calls for int’l action to impose safe aid distribution mechanism in Gaza

Tuesday 17-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

In a statement on Tuesday, Hamas also said that Israeli forces opened fire at aid seekers near an aid distribution point in Rafa'h, killing five of them and injuring others, adding that these incidents happen daily at the US-Israeli aid distribution points in Gaza, which it described as “mass killing traps.”

'Hamas accused the Israeli army of using aid as a weapon for killing and humiliation, calling starvation a part of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The Movement called on the UN and international organizations to take urgent action to impose a safe and independent aid distribution mechanism in Gaza.

Palestinian sustains wounds in colonists’ attack south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), June 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian on Tuesday evening sustained wounds in an attack by a group of the illegal Israeli settlers in Masafir Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to a media activist.

Osama Makhamra said that the illegal Israeli settlers assaulted 'Umran Isma'eel Nawaj'a, inflicting wounds in his head and requiring him to be hospitalized.

The assailants came from the illegal Israeli settlement of Susiya.

Meanwhile, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers grazed their livestock on Palestinians’ cultivated lands in Khirbet Al-Qawawis, and chased shepherds and assaulted their sheep in Wadi Ma‘een.

Masafir Yatta comprises 19 hamlets, which rely heavily on animal husbandry as their primary source of livelihood.

Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by settlers and soldiers targeting their main source of living - livestock.

It has been designated as a closed Israeli military zone for training since the 1980s and accordingly referred to as Firing Zone 918.

Israeli violations against the area include demolition of animal barns, homes, and residential structures. The issuance of construction permits by Israel to local Palestinians in the area is non-existent.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

Israeli occupation forces detain two Palestinians from the West Bank

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), June 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening detained two Palestinians from the occupied West Bank governorates of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) and Jenin, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces showed up at a house in 'Housan village, west of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, and rounded up a 49-year-old woman, marking the second time she was detained within less than 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the gun-toting soldiers broke into a house on the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp, muscled inside, and detained a Palestinian.

Meanwhile, a convoy of army vehicles stormed the southern part of Hebron City, where they intercepted Palestinian-licensed vehicles and assaulted their owners.

The gun-toting soldiers broke into several houses and occupied their rooftops, turning them into army outposts.

Meanwhile, the gun-toting soldiers ordered the closure of several stores and set up a checkpoint in Al-Dthahiriya town.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Aree'ha (Jericho), June 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers Tuesday evening stormed the vicinity of Palestinian residents’ homes in the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat Bedouin community northwest of Aree'ha (Jericho), according to a local official.

'Hasan Mulai'hat, an official with Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that several armed colonists raided the community, grazed their sheep on Bedouin fodder and straw bundles, and banned the villagers’ access to their livestock pens.

The settler violence and provocations against Palestinians and their properties have significantly increased since the onset of the all-out Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023.

Israeli occupation forces install new gate, insolate two villages near Salfeet

Salfeet, June 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening installed a new metal gate between Kifl 'Haris and 'Haris villages, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Salfeet, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that the soldiers erected a new metal gate in the area between the two villages, effectively blocking the only road left for villagers to access the city of Salfeet.

The occupation forces have already sealed off the gates at the main entrances of Kifl Hares and Hares, severely restricting the movement of their residents.

Earlier today, forces installed a similar gate at the entrance of Dair Ballout town, west of Salfeet.

The occupation forces have been tightening military measures across the occupied West Bank since hours after the release of the first batch of Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect in January, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates from one another using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks.

They have severely restricted Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities.

Closures, besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 58-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

Israeli occupation forces take over house near Ramallah, turn it into military outpost

RAMALLAH, June 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday took over a Palestinian’s house at the northern entrance of Beer Zait, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security sources.

They said that the occupying forces broke into a Palestinian’s house on the road connecting Beer Zait to the nearby town of 'Atara, and turned it into a military observation and a firing position.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces stormed Al-Mughayyir village and Silwan town, northeast and east of Ramallah, respectively, where they have already occupied two houses and turned them into military outposts.

The Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Rummanah, west of Jineen, deploying their vehicles throughout its streets. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers have continued converting houses in the area into military outposts for the fifth consecutive day, forcibly displacing residents.

Palestinian Educide: Over 16,000 students killed, 111 schools destroyed in Israeli aggression

Tuesday 17-June-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education has reported devastating losses in the education sector as a result of Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip and military aggression in the West Bank.

Since October 7, 2023, at least 16,607 Palestinian students have been martyred, with over 26,000 others injured, the ministry said in a statement released Tuesday.

According to the ministry, the vast majority of student deaths—more than 16,470—occurred in Gaza alone, with 25,374 injuries reported. In the West Bank, 137 students were martyred, 897 wounded, and 754 students arrested by Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

The assault on education extends beyond students. The ministry reported that 914 teachers and school administrators were martyred in both Gaza and the West Bank, with another 4,363 injured. At least 196 educators have been arrested by the IOF in the West Bank.

The physical destruction of the educational infrastructure has been equally catastrophic. In Gaza, 352 government schools were severely damaged, including 111 completely destroyed. IOF also bombed and vandalized 91 government schools and 89 UNRWA-run schools, according to the report.

Furthermore, 20 higher education institutions sustained heavy damage, while 60 university buildings were entirely demolished.

In the West Bank, 152 schools and eight universities were raided and vandalized. The IOF reportedly bulldozed the walls of schools in Jenin, Tulkarem, and the towns of Bruqin and Kafr al-Dik near Salfit.

The Ministry emphasized the psychological and educational toll on Gaza’s youth, stating that 788,000 students have been denied access to schools and universities since the beginning of the war.

For the second consecutive year, high school students in Gaza will be unable to sit for their final exams due to the destruction and insecurity. In contrast, the West Bank plans to proceed with high school exams starting Saturday, June 21, 2025.

The Ministry also condemned the ongoing closure of six UNRWA-run schools in Jerusalem and its suburbs by the Israeli occupation authorities since May 8, further impeding Palestinian students’ right to education.

International human rights groups and UN agencies have repeatedly warned that the destruction of educational infrastructure and the targeting of students and educators may constitute war crimes under international law. Despite this, attacks on Palestinian schools and universities continue with little international accountability.

UNRWA: Gaza’s fuel crisis threatens humanitarian operations

Tuesday 17-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

UNRWA has said that the Israeli occupation army has been preventing the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip for more than 100 days, warning that this fuel crisis threatens to bring all humanitarian operations in the war-ravaged territory to a complete halt.

“Health, water, food, and communications are all at risk” due to the fuel crisis in Gaza, according to UNRWA on Monday.

“Humanitarian operations cannot run without fuel. Without fuel, lives will be lost,” UNRWA warned.

UNRWA called for necessarily lifting the siege on Gaza and allowing the entry of fuel shipments into the coastal enclave.

Red Cross: Evacuation orders worsen healthcare delivery in Gaza

Tuesday 17-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) stated that the rapid deterioration of Gaza’s healthcare system, in light of the latest Israeli “evacuation orders,” poses a direct threat to the Nasir Medical Complex in Khan Younus and further hampers the ability to provide care for the wounded and sick.

In a statement released Monday, the ICRC confirmed that the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate severely. Civilians are being killed and injured daily due to the intense aggression, while their suffering is compounded by ongoing restrictions on the flow of humanitarian aid, making access to essential needs like fuel, water, and food increasingly difficult.

The statement noted that the Red Cross field hospital in Gaza received over 370 patients in a short period on Sunday and Monday. Many of the wounded had suffered gunshot injuries while trying to reach a food distribution center, an alarming indication of the continued risk to civilians and the worsening humanitarian conditions.

Medical sources at the hospital reported that more than 200 patients were admitted in a single day, marking the highest number recorded since the facility was established due to a mass casualty incident.

The ICRC emphasized that under international humanitarian law, the protection of civilians during armed conflict is a legal and moral obligation. Warring parties must exercise the utmost caution to avoid harming civilians and civilian infrastructure. However, the reality in Gaza, now over 20 months into this crisis, continues to show that civilians are bearing the highest cost.

The ICRC also stressed the urgent need for the immediate and unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid, including food, water, medicine, and medical supplies, while ensuring that the wounded and sick receive the emergency care they desperately need.

The organization renewed its call to respect and protect medical workers, relief teams, and civil defense personnel, noting the numerous deaths and injuries sustained by these groups in recent months.

The ICRC also warned that the situation in the West Bank is no less serious, with civilians suffering from the destruction of homes and farmland, village violence, and ongoing restrictions that affect fuel availability, limit emergency services, and hinder access to healthcare. Thousands remain forcibly displaced amid worsening economic and social challenges.

The Red Cross concluded by saying that even under occupation, civilians must be allowed to live as normal a life as possible, with their dignity preserved, their basic needs met, and their human rights upheld.

Euro-Med: Gaza humanitarian foundation is direct partner in Israel’s machinery of killing and starvation

Tuesday 17-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said that the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” bears direct responsibility for the escalation of Israeli crimes against starving civilians near aid distribution centers in central and southern Gaza.

In a statement, Euro-Med stressed that the foundation’s continued operation of these centers, despite documentation of more than 335 civilian deaths in just three weeks, constitutes explicit complicity in war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The rights group explained that the foundation’s operational model lures civilians into exposed, centralized distribution points coordinated with the Israeli occupation army, where they are then attacked and killed.

Euro-Med added that these distribution sites have effectively become death traps exploited by Israel as part of its broader genocidal campaign in the Gaza Strip.

Euro-Med called for an independent international investigation into the foundation’s role and for those in charge to be criminally prosecuted for their involvement in these crimes.

It also demanded an immediate halt to all forms of financial or logistical support for the foundation and for it to be placed on blacklists of entities involved in grave violations of international law.

Euro-Med emphasized that the international community’s failure to take meaningful action against Israel has enabled it to continue implementing its inhumane aid distribution system, using these centers as sites of mass killing.

The organization urged all concerned parties to initiate civil lawsuits in national courts, holding the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” and all implicated entities and individuals financially liable for the grave harm inflicted on victims and their families.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
